Master Suite Addition, ADU and Deck

This comprehensive three-phase project was designed to elevate both living space and lifestyle, seamlessly integrating a new master suite addition, a fully equipped ADU build-out, and a complete front and backyard landscape/hardscape transformation.

Phase 1: Master Suite Addition

Built from the ground up, the new master suite was thoughtfully designed to create a private retreat within the home. The space features engineered wood flooring, crisp white walls, and elevated ceilings that enhance openness and natural light. Custom blinds and elegant French doors lead directly to the backyard, while an additional set of French doors connects the bedroom to the master bathroom, creating a smooth, luxurious flow.

The master bathroom was crafted as a spa-inspired sanctuary. Heated floors provide everyday comfort, while a freestanding soaking tub with an independent floor-mounted fixture serves as a stunning focal point. The walk-in shower includes a built-in bench, a rain shower head, and a wall-mounted fixture for a fully customized experience. Porcelain slabs were used for both the flooring and a dramatic accent wall, adding sophistication and continuity. A floating vanity topped with fabricated natural stone and dual sinks completes the modern, elevated design.

Phase 2: ADU Build-Out

The accessory dwelling unit (ADU), constructed on a raised foundation, offers a fully independent and versatile living space. Designed for comfort and functionality, it includes a kitchenette, full bathroom, sauna, mini-split HVAC system, and dedicated water heater. The layout maximizes efficiency while maintaining a modern aesthetic, making it ideal for guests, extended family, or rental income opportunities.

Phase 3: Backyard Paradise & Outdoor Living

The backyard was transformed into a private resort-style retreat. A custom-built deck with railings and stairs creates a strong architectural foundation for the outdoor space. Two pergolas and a beautifully designed pavilion define separate entertaining areas, enhancing both form and function.

The pavilion features a fully functional outdoor kitchen, perfect for hosting and year-round gatherings. The space is further elevated by the addition of a jacuzzi, completing the tranquil, spa-like atmosphere.

This three-phase project showcases thoughtful planning, seamless integration, and high-end craftsmanship—delivering expanded living space, modern luxury, and a true indoor-outdoor lifestyle experience.
