Golden View Renovation Inc. (“Golden View,” “we,” “us”) is a design-build and general contracting company at 1545 Berger Drive, San Jose, CA 95112 (CSLB License #1072628). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through goldenviewrenovation.com, our forms, phone calls, text messages and online ads, how we use it, and the choices you have.

 

By using our website or contacting us, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information.

 

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a consultation, call, text or email us, or respond to one of our ads, we collect:

• Name, email address, phone number and property address

• Project details, such as project type, timeline, budget range, photos and anything you write to us

• Appointment details and the history of our messages with you

 

Calls and texts. We keep records of calls and text messages with you, including the date, time and phone number. Calls to our business lines may be recorded or transcribed for quality, training and record-keeping.

 

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on site, the page that referred you, and general location (city or region). We collect this through cookies, pixels and similar tools (see section 4).

 

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Answer your questions and follow up on your request by phone, text or email

• Schedule consultations, estimates and site visits

• Plan, price and carry out your project, and send related documents and updates

• Ask for feedback and reviews after a project

• Send marketing messages, only where you have agreed to receive them

• Measure and improve our website and advertising, including showing our ads to people who visited our site

• Protect against fraud and spam, and meet legal, licensing and insurance obligations

 

3. Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments, your project and, if you opted in, occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

• Reply STOP to stop receiving texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (408) 908-8281.

• Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase.

• We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with service providers that help us send messages, and they may not use it for anything else.

 

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies, pixels and similar tools from these providers:

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: measure visits and how the site is used

• Microsoft Clarity: shows how visitors move through pages (clicks, scrolling) so we can improve them

• Google Ads: measures which ads lead to calls and form requests, and shows our ads to past visitors

• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): measures our Facebook and Instagram ads and shows our ads to past visitors

 

These providers may collect information about your visits across websites and use it under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can limit personalized ads through your Google Ad Settings and Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. The site may not work fully without cookies.

 

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who work for us: our marketing agency, CRM and scheduling software, phone and text-messaging providers, website hosting, and the analytics and advertising tools in section 4. They may use it only to provide services to us.

• With subcontractors, designers, engineers and suppliers when needed to carry out your project

• When required by law, a court order or a permit or licensing authority, or to protect our rights and safety

• With a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized

• With anyone else, only with your permission

 

6. Your choices and California privacy rights

• Review or correct your information: email us at info@goldenviewrenovation.com or call (408) 908-8281 and we will update it.

• Delete your information: ask us at the same contacts. We will delete what we are not required to keep for legal, tax, warranty or contract reasons.

• Stop marketing: reply STOP to texts, click “unsubscribe” in emails, or ask us directly.

• Do Not Track: our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can still limit tracking with your cookie and ad settings (section 4).

 

California residents may ask once a year whether we shared personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not share information for that purpose.

 

7. Keeping your information safe

Retention. We keep your information as long as needed to respond to you, complete and warranty your project, and meet legal, tax and licensing requirements. Then we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

 

Security. We use reasonable safeguards, such as access controls and secure software providers. No system is 100% secure, so please do not send sensitive information like bank details through our forms.

 

Children. Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

 

Other websites. Links to other sites (for example Houzz, Yelp, Google, YouTube or social media) are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.

 

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If we make a significant change, we will also note it on our website.
