This Foster City remodel reimagines a once-compact kitchen into a bright and inviting space that feels both expansive and functional.

The design highlights a classic two-tone cabinet palette: crisp white upper cabinets that reflect light and warm oak-toned lower cabinets that ground the space with natural texture. A distinctive pendant light over the peninsula introduces sculptural interest and defines the transitional area between prep and dining zones. Complementing the layered lighting scheme, recessed ceiling lights offer clean, even illumination throughout.

White walls and new light-toned flooring further open the space, contributing to the airy, minimalist aesthetic. A full-slab backsplash adds a modern touch. With visual flow, the newly installed oven is seamlessly integrated between the base cabinets. Though the kitchen’s original structure was retained, the thoughtful redesign dramatically enhances the sense of space—making it feel noticeably larger, brighter, and more modern.

The result is a cohesive, elevated kitchen that balances functionality with refined design.
