Garage conversion to ADU
Foster City

Our clients in Foster City felt their existing carport was being underutilized. They came to us with several ideas and ultimately landed on the most practical choice for their family. The carport conversion into an ADU (accessory dwelling unit) provided more living space for the entire family and a future source of rental income. The conversion included our entire team, from our in-house architects, engineers, and designers to our subcontractors. The new ADU included all-new framing, new shear walls, a new sewer line, and plumbing for the bathroom and kitchenette. With a new electrical plan, our clients can rest assured there is ample power for their entire home. Other finishes included custom cabinets, new appliances, finished textured walls, windows, and GFCI outlets. Our team made sure everything was planned and built according to city code.
